Well, we are well into October. The daughter is excited about Halloween, and is counting down the days. Her schooling is going very well, and she has adapted nicely. We have joined something called Katori Nation, which started out life as Indian Princesses/Indian Guides for those who remember it. Tonight is our first nation event, the induction ceremony, and Sunday is the first tribe meeting. Next month is the first camp-out, and she is ready!
The boy is doing well with his school as well. He has started to sing his alphabet to us at home, and is reciting his numbers to almost 10. He now weighs 35 pounds, and is only 27 months old. He has been talking up a storm, and is a very happy boy.
School is going well for me. Right now, I am on track to have 3 B's and one A, but I still have two major papers and a group project left to do. Next week, I am in training here in town all week. It is an accelerated class for returning Red Hat Certified Engineers. This will be third RHCE, but the first time I have taken the class.
The wife is doing well, also. She is happily drawing up plans for the back yard, and I am liking the way the plans look. I hope to be able to help her with them soon.
This weekend is full of festivals, Saturday is Texas Renaissance Festival on Saturday, and the Katy Rice Harvest Festival Sunday afternoon. This is the month of festivals!
